Geodesics Unlimited was founded in 1999 by Amila Y'Mech, after 3 years of studying 3D Design, computer programming, and the maths of geodesics forms. A year earlier Amila had been invited to undertake post-graduate research into geodesic design at the Space Structures Research Centre at Surrey University, the world’s foremost centre for the study and development of space frame configurations. The founding of Geodesics Unlimited represented and represents Amila’s primary purpose, which is to build geodesic structures for all to wonder at and enjoy.
